Covenant: a promise, agreement, or contract between two or more parties. The parties agree to perform or not perform certain actions. For example, You might say, ‘We covenant to work together on this project until it is finished.”
Covenant Groups are transformative gatherings designed with the intention of uniting individuals from diverse backgrounds, forging connections, and fostering empathy while applying Restorative Justice Principles.
The program aims to create a space where individuals can authentically connect with one another on a deep and emotional level. It encourages a sense of belonging and togetherness.
Compassion is at the heart of this initiative. Participants are encouraged to approach each other with kindness, empathy, and an open heart, fostering a safe environment for healing and growth.
The program respects the freedom of each participant to express themselves honestly and openly, providing a platform for individual voices to be heard without judgment.
Love is a foundational element, symbolizing the care and regard participants have for one another. It is a reminder that even in difficult conversations, love can prevail.
Restorative Justice principles are woven into the fabric of Convenant: Covenant. This means that participants engage in conversations that promote understanding, accountability, and resolution rather than punitive measures.
